This review describes the results of the DAPA-HF (Dapagliflozin and Prevention of Adverse Outcomes in Heart Failure) trial and the recently published Dapagliflozin Effects on Biomarkers, Symptoms, and Functional Status in Patients With Heart Failure With Reduced Ejection Fraction (DEFINE-HF) trial.
