Peer review

Process:

• Submission:
  • we will let you know within 24 hours of submission if a manuscript is suitable for peer review
• Peer review: we aim for a first editorial decision within 3 weeks of manuscript submission
  • the in-house Editor liaises with Associate Editors, as required
  • Single-blind external peer review
  • At least 2 sets of comments from invited external peer reviewers
  • Editor/AE makes a decision and responds to authors.
• Revised manuscript submitted (track changes plus response to peer review comments):
  • Editor liaises with Associate Editors and/or peer reviewers, as required
  • Final decision within 5 days of receipt of revised manuscript
  • Editor contacts authors with decision plus any other requirements before publication.
